HG&H’s landmark indigenous benefit-sharing agreement

HG&H has concluded a landmark benefit-sharing agreement with the South African San Council on sales of Zembrin®. This marks the first prior informed consent benefit-sharing agreement with an indigenous African community for commercialisation of a health product based on a local medicinal plant.

HG&H is proud to have been granted South Africa’s first Integrated Export and Bioprospecting Permit (Permit IEP 0001) by the Department of Water and Environmental Affairs.
