Victor qualified as a pharmacist in pre-Zimbabwe Rhodesia, where he lectured in pharmacology before moving to South Africa in 1982. Since then he has been involved in over 500 clinical trials in two pharmaceutical companies, and currently as the CEO of Triclinium, the largest wholly South African contract research organisation which he founded in February 2000. He has written or co-authored 18 scientific papers and 26 local and international congress presentations, mostly on hypertension and haemodynamics. Victor is currently preparing the South African chapter of a new textbook, Global Clinical Trials, to be published by Elsevier in 2011.
